Sydney experimentalist Peter Blamey creates 
intriguing, microscopic figures of sound by 
manipulating feedback generated from a mixing 
desk. Particles of noise bound about in 
curious rhythms that work their way to sum up    . 
abstract melodies, encompassing drones and 
reverberating textures that fold over 
themselves in beguiling ways. Blamey's 
reductive electronics has a busy pace, but 
Salted Felt has a measured sensibility where 
time is a place to escape in, not from.
